First, CPQ gave 200 options to each employee. If you think that move will dry up the float than your definition of a successful company is that soley focus on shareholder's value. Forget employees. They're just an overhead eating up the cost and diluting earnings.

IMO, CPQ made a right move to focus on its employess, and building foundation for turn-around to compete w/ HP and alike- whose image as a best place to work stands-out.

I'm not a cheerleader because my horizon is longer here. I'm here to share my views that this company had success before, is capable of leading the technology sector under the right leadership. It's correcting the mistakes the e-fools made, which were beyond repair.

I cannot fault or disagree w/ all of you who are frustrated with stock and its performace for last 2 years. I even agree and have agreed that MC could do better to quiet some of the anxiety that exists in CPQ's shareholder. But I cannot translate that as MC is a failure or a poor manager.
I have said this in my last few posts, Q1 will be a good guidance for us to understand what MC has done and plans to do- and we all will have more data to judge his role as a CEO and the direction CPQ is going.

BTW, This is open forum, so anything goes...I just hope everyone use their time wisely to have a meaningful discussions here.
