Very favorable for Sandisk. Not financially so much--Lexar had $29 million in revenue last quarter with a $14 million loss, I think it was. If those numbers aren't exact, then they give the right flavor in any case. But it is another victory in protecting IP, and protecting the flow of royalties. This could put Lexar out of business, as they couldn't even come close to making a profit even without paying royalties. They are also trying to go public in the next few weeks, which will undoubtedly be put on hold under the circumstances, though after the Seagate fiasco, I think anything is possible.

In any case, market conditions may lead Sandisk to stay in the teens/twenties for awhile, but I don't expect them to stay there, especially after the next report which should not only be good but also should give some very good forward guidance. IMHO, obviously.
