I heard on the radio tonight that Trent Lott said to only fill out the first 7 questions of the Long form if you like. I also heard that they are planning on making the other questions optional next time. Oh well, I answered the first question only on the long form I got at my 2nd residence and only 6 on the one I got at home.<g> I also heard that a bill is being or is going to be introduced to reduce the fine to $10. Interesting, considering last time they didn't fine anybody anyway! They also reported that a Federal Judge somewhere said you didn't have to answer the personal questions unless you wanted too. The funniest thing I heard was one of the Census workers called in on the radio show and said they were opening the forms wearing rubber gloves! Seems some people had chosen to defecate on the long form before mailing it in.
