Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We will be landing soon. Please fasten your seatbelts and make sure that your trays and seats are in their upright and locked position. I ask that you please refrain from use of cell phones and laptops...and yes chowder brain in first class isle seats numbers 1a and b that means you too and NOW. Just ahead on solid terra firmma the weather is overcast and the temperature is a chilly 5 below. Good news is that the storm which had delayed our landing is over and a warming trend is beginning. Once on the ground please remain seated until we stop our taxiing and come to a full stop at the terminal. Once the green lights are on you will be free to move about the cabin and gather your belongings for the next leg of your journey. For the many passengers traveling with the @home party you will be greeted with a host and lead to your waiting ground transportation and taken to your connecting high speed shuttle. Your guide, Leo, will be wearing coveralls so as not to draw attention to your group. I am sure you understand as you are not accustomed to fan fare anyway which is often an impediment to your surest passage. May I say on behalf of the rest of the crew that it has been quite a ride to date, we thank you for your patience and are very confident that the adventure you have signed on for will meet and exceed your expectations. For those of you with @home tickets you will soon be finding reward bonus dollars good for travel and adventure globally, mailed directly to your brokerage accounts. I remember Harry Chapin died in a car accident on Long Island driving to a concert several years back. He had written a song regarding a salesman who had traveled for 30 years on buses and was fed up with waiting and travel and cold and missed moments. After realizing his family had grown, his youth had been spent in chasing tomorrow and regretting yesterday, he had a realization one night while waiting for a Grey hound.
