Tiger, I am going to use your post to make a point. This is generic response, not specific to your post.

This thread is not interested in "new-new" areas. We want to catch an industry when it had developed to the point that a Gorilla has emerged.

Look at Qualcomm. Cell Phones have been a major item for 10 years, but Q was worth our attention only last year.

We are really a very conservative thread. We only want winners when they are a sure thing. People read this thread because it is popular, and do not understand what we are all about.

We call these small start ups and new areas "Shiny Pebbles". Some of us invest part of our portfolio in them, but it is not the "Gorilla and King" part.

What you are seeing in the recent posts here, from the "old boys", on this thread, is a rejection of discussion of these companies and these areas. We are not saying that they are not worthwhile, we are saying that THEY DON'T FIT THIS THREAD!
