Hadrian, you and all are more than welcome for our efforts on this. Every member of the dollarStation.com team is an active Online Investor with accounts at E*Trade, so we're definitely all in this together.

It's late and I don't have my notes handy from the conversation, but I think the answers to your questions would be a) With the first day of trading being considered Day 1, the "jail term" for flipping would run until Day 61, and b) 2 overlapping penalty phases would run concurrently.

I'm hopeful that the clarifying language that E*Trade posts on their site will address this issue, as well. Once that update has been posted, if everything is not crystal clear, we'll go back and ask for further clarification. :-)
