PRICE ACTION:

It seems to me that the recent price action, and huge selloff is related to the general direction of the market rather than anything else.

From what I can see, FFIV is a solid little company, growing rapidly and able to function competitively with others in the same market space. HOWEVER, it has certainly been a MOMENTUM stock upwards, and it has become a momentum stock downwards. The huge amount of insider selling has also done a lot to shake the confidence of investors.

What are these shares now worth? If ATON and ARPT push ahead, and these shares look cheap in relationship to that, then some upwards momentum might be established and at that point the true momentum players might pile on.

They certainly piled on for the ride down.

Right now FFIV looks like a broken bird to me. Hate to say that because I am long the stock.

Perceptions rule everything and can change rapidly. If everybody thinks FFIV is incredibly cheap at these prices
and jumps on, then away we go.

If everybody looks at this brutal descent and is fearful of more, that's another story. And those who have been so succesful at shorting the stock don't quit all that quickly when they have been so successful.

Best wishes,
Jim
