some indirect news: MCMS wins optical contract Mar. 31, 2000 (Electronic Buyers News - CMP via COMTEX) -- MCMS Inc., Nampa, Idaho, said it has been awarded a contract to provide manufacturing services to Digital Lightwave Inc., a maker of optical networking products. The contract electronics manufacturer will build certain components for the Clearwater, Fla.-based OEM. Digital Lightwave serves the fiber-optic networking industry with products that monitor and facilitate the management of voice, data, and multimedia-communications networks.
