Good Saturday April 1, 2000 to K., freedog and all. This may be an April Fool's Day joke but It is not so intended. Inasmuch as this board is rather sparse, I frequent the Y board, which has some interesting messages interspersed with far too much trash & bash. One of the more interesting posters is a putative Israeli who goes by the name Victorf135. Mostly, he uses the forum to cheerlead by predicting future prices for the shares. Occasionally, he teases by forecasting a PR or event. While the latter type is not always accurate, performance does match the promise with some degree of frequency, even when the forecast is protectively camouflaged as a rumor.
As anyone who follows this company knows, this is an Israeli company with a major executive and management presence in the US. Its stock price has been volatile. Relatively recent prices range from 36 (inter day yesterday) to 68. It closed at 48 yesterday. At 4:35 PM yesterday, Victor posted message #2823, which reads, "it seems something will happen on MON." Not long afterward, another poster lent some credibility to Victor's message. See #2832.

This poster added some dimension to Victor's message. Paraphrasing #2832 and some additional posts which followed, the rumor is that CTCH will be in a M & A (acquiror?) with another company about 1/3 the size of CTCH and that the after hours asking price for both, set almost simultaneously, became $81. The identity of the other company has not been established although some seem to know it.
I can say that, in the past, on some occasions Israeli media jumped the gun on CTCH announcements, e.g. the Microsoft connection. I do not know whether any further information about this rumor has appeared in an Israeli paper as of this time. However, it is noted that much of Israel, even the non-orthodox segment, shuts down from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
