Interesting to listen to the phone call. It seems Microsoft's basic position is:

1) In 1998 the appeal court agreed that Microsoft had the right, in Windows95, to write code into the OS that allowed users connection to the internet so that users could go out on the internet and get/send information.

2) Nothing has changed since then. So there should be no argument against allowing MSFT to put IE in its OS.

A interesting statement: "We are long term players in the court of law."
