Captain Jack, I don't think the lawyers in private lawsuits will get people interested in recovering $5 per copy of Windows. Even if I hated Microsoft, I could not be bothered to waste my time.
Furthermore, most people have a positive image of Microsoft while a not so positive image of big government. So you can eliminate some more from getting interested in getting back their $5.

Then the lawyers get stuck---What to do? Get a deal to recover their legal cost and move on! So simple. If no deal you have to face a jury that most likely would not be as friendly as Judge Jackson---just ask Bristol which lost in its home state against MSFT!!!

Does anyone really think Microsoft is not really aware of this.

I am looking to buy some Microsoft stock in the next couple of days.

Strangely, a part of me feels that Microsoft stock will actually from this price in the near term---on this news and the ruling by Jackson.
