TO ALL: When I sent out over 400 e-mails I tried to help. Fortunately the market was closed and nobody could have bought or sold based on the information I transmitted. You asked for the information and I provided it in the form that I had it, as a report. The report was believed by me (and, I submit by Goldman) to be genuine. I verified that there were people with Goldman at the luncheon that met his description to me and that they acted as he had said.
OBVIOUSLY OUR INFORMATION about Freeport does not matter now EVEN IF IT IS TRUE. IF the Strathcona report posted at the Bre-x site is true Freeport can now quietly take over if they like or they can leave. People smarter than me and smarter than Goldman were victims. I am a Lawyer, not a gold miner. Jim Bob Moffett is a gold miner and he was speciously mislead and hoodwinked too.
In a ray of hope, as to Strathcona, How could they have said ALL data was false when they only looked at some?
While obvioulsy we all want to hang on to hope that there is something amiss with the report, what good do you think it would do me (or Goldman) to take so many hours out of our life to try to inform others of the news we heard if we did so in any other manner than in good faith?? If we had heard the report was going to reveal fraud, (which we did not) don't you think we could have garnered more "attention" by saying the report was fraud!
I have enough success in my professional life that I do not need any attention from a hundred or two hundred post persons on an SI thread I do not know to feed an ego. I can walk into any local courtroom and command respect if ego was what I desired to be filled. Conversely, if I thought I heard something you would want to hear if you were me, I may decide to unselfishly spend hours away from my little girl to post on the internet privately, rather than make one outlandish post on the thread and go from there to garner all the attention people presume we sought!
If those of you who got e-mail from me would take the time to notice, I had to type in every darn name and address by hand, and it took a hell of a long time sitting here (with a bad back, no less) to try to get that accomplished) Some mail came back undelivered due to typos. some was delivered twice due to oversights. In all, I posted about 500 to 600 letters in the past 48 hours and I hate to post e-mail PERIOD!
I tried to help and most of you will appreciate that. SOME will want to use this opportunity to jump my case! You are welcome to make your comments, and I will quietly watch them be posted.
I know everybody wants to find a scapegoat. Mike has already invited me to refrain from posting.
What I posted was not only interesting, but true with regard to the one hole being a dud. (A trivial attempt at light humor in this time of gloom)!
The results of the other three being good was absolutely erroneous if Strathcona's report at the Bre-x release is valid, but I did not go to all the trouble that I did for funsy, amusement, or ulterior purposes.
With regard to the posts by e-mail, I did it because I would have wanted to know what we had learnedIf I were not knowledgeable of the information.
With regasrd to my investment, many of you know I have 19775 shares and options for another 200 contracts of May and August calls. I got it the hard way, in the pocketbook, just like you.
Although I will not BUY on open after seeing the report now, I wish all of you good luck with your investments and I hope for the miracle we all need now. Hopefully patience will be a guide all of us use IF the market even opens~
PLEASE Do not blame Goldman (or me, I hope)for trying hard to help the situation. Soemthing screwy is going on here, to say the least but neither Goldman nor WOODY instigated it. You treat me (us) as if I am the cause of the trouble. Your anger in that regard is misdirected and childish!
There is a phrase in America, don't shoot the messenger, and I feel shot for trying to help.
As to Mike, as far as posting to this thread in the future, IF the report posted is valid, and I have no reasopn to doubt it as I read it, there will not be a Bre-x to have a thread. When Mike shows me he owns this thread, I will refrain from further posting.

I am sorry I tried to help and it did not work out, BUT I AM NOT SORRY I TRIED TO HELP!!!! Again, I hope you all realize that I was conveying the information we believed.
I am not trying to excuse the inaccuarcy of the part of the information about three good holes (the rest of the information regarding Freeport trying to take over may play out or may not)
I do not excuse any psotings of the information by saying it was right in part, nor am I apologizing for trying to help. I am sorry if you would be offended by efforts to help.
