Hi Moose- I am not sure that ATHM has a relationship with with either Liberate or OpenTV. It seems, however, that ATHM's partners are more closely aligned with Liberate. MediaOne, Comcast, Cox, Rogers, and Shaw are all investors in Liberate. The only partner of ATHM that has a relationship with OpenTV is Shaw. Besides, David Nagel, CTO and president of AT&T labs was recently named to the board of Liberate.
So...between the two, Liberate has a foot deeper in the door.
Now, on the flip side, AOL has a relationship with both companies.
I hope the info. helped a little. Maybe someone else from the thread can give you better insight.
