Allen, cost of flash is expected to drop to $5 per megabyte by the year 1999 according to Scandisk, one of its main perveyors. What a deal. The cost of .75 or .50 per megabyte for flash is unrealistic until they re-invent the wheel of embedded computer design. Electrons travel at the same speed, but the problem with flash is that the "memory" must travel from point A to Z and back to A again due to current board configurations. Maybe they'll figure out how to utilize anti-matter by the year 2010 so that flash' cost will be close to .50 per megabyte. Sorry to say this, but Raucky clearly doesn't have a clue as to what he's talking about regarding N-hand or Zip for that matter.
