John: What they might be able to do is sell accessory kits to the microscope, ie stepper motors and the like. Some of the rumors about the upcoming "toys" sound quite interesting: "bluetooth" controlled cars, pets and so on.
Still haven't bought any MAT but its high on my watch list.
