Background on ADLT:

The February 29th press release announcing creation of a fiberoptic telecommunications unit is what sent the share price soaring. The shorts immediately stepped in and did pretty well. But the strength of the same news brought the price right back up again. The shorts tried again, but failed during the recent very severe market collapse.

You're right about the volume. It's low. How come? No one wants to sell. The market makers have consistently kept a wide bid and ask differential in attempts to induce trading. Except when the shorters were hard at work, there haven't been many takers on the sell side.

I was invested in PKTR after it IPO'd. It traded in a similar manner: Low volume, wide spread on the bid and ask and not a whole lot of message board activity. As an investor, it was a strange feeling. I felt like I was all alone, given few were sharing information on the boards. Eventually, however it showed two strong movements upward, one of which neared the 80 mark. It's collapsed some since.

What'll most likely send it upward again are: a) It's been a very belligerent stock for the shorters; b) Last Wednesday ADLT had an invitation-only analysts meeting at its DSI facility. DSI is like a younger sister to OCLI and more and more folks are beginning to realize this. News expected soon as a result of the meeting.
