Yes ... Drew has had a hard time eduacating people inside of Novell about his vision. They just don't seem to understand it. The management seemed to latch onto this "directory" concept and can't expand beyond it ...

Drew appears to be making progress, and he demoed a variety of "appliances" ...

They showed the core ICS, also some software enhancements which provided content filtering and modification. Examples were the "Akamaizer" which would dynamically modify content, on the fly, so that it would be compatible with Akamai's network.

He also showed the SSLizer, more commonly known as secureMe, and also a high-performance storage appliance called Aquarium.

All very cool!
