Rest easy, LLR, Dan has never smelled anything-- bad or good. It's remarkable. An odor must reach the level where dogs howl and children pass out before he says, "Do you smell something off?"
I can detect a doggy gift on the lawn two streets over. I know when someone not the family has been in my home. I can tell what deodorant everyone has used in the morning.
Dan wouldn't dare cheat, I would know before he got out of his car.

What you described is indeed a testimony to your developed nasal abilities. These, too, are all part of the Baby Magic.
Though even I was impressed at your claim to diaper enhancement analysis. At some point you'll associate the whole mix with "child" and because you love them so much, the smell will be as the finest perfume!
Well, sort of.
