First nomination for an EMERGING TECH IS: Lernout and Hauspie Speech (LHSP) 1. With Dragon Purchase - they control approximately 2/3 of the consumer based speech market. 2. Voice controlled mobile net access -with voice controlled inputs and outputs - is coming - and will be critically important for small mobile net communicator devices. This area is only in its infancy now and will only grow larger. The net will soon be in every ones pocket and it will talk (maybe in 3 to 5yrs) 3. Various companies are producing certain mobile devices later this year having voice input features. Point is public will start to become aware of possibilities of voice access to the net -thus massively increasing investor awareness. 4. Current cap is 6 billion, leaving lots of room to either run up or perhaps be acquired at a premium. 5. They have earnings, with PE 156 (not great -but not bad in this realm). Price to sales 19 to 1, Long Term Debt .08, very low.
