Mani Re: Chic, so how much of your portfolio is AMD? :)

Mani,
I'm nearly 100% AMD. I have 2 accounts. One is in my name and one is in my mom's name. Mine is my money (which I borrowed $10K to start in December from my uncle). The other is in my mom's name which consists of the leftover money from my college fund. I started college in 1995 with $20K, after paying for college, my account had a value of $15K (the market was good through school), so my mom gave me the account as a trust which transfers to me. Here's everything I have in both accounts. Keep in mind, I would be 100% AMd, but my mom has little tolerance for options and companies she's never heard of.

My account:
25 AMD April 70's
6 AMD April 60's
7 AMD July 45's

Mom's account:
20 AMd April 60's
7 AMD Jan 2001 70's
10 July 60's
1 IBM Jan 2001 110
1 IBM Jan 2002 130
100 shares MSFT
100 shares DELL

Mani,
Keep in mind, my mom doesn't like options. The only reason I have options in the account was due to a deal I made with her. She gave me a few G's to play with. I bought IBM options the day before earnings, and DELL options the day before earnings, I made a killing on both of them to allow me the capital to roll into AMD options. This is completely in line with what I posted (for AMD) the first day I joined. Except for which account had which, which is irrelevant.
