I guess you know this, and while I think AMD is a great investment, placing all of one's investment income in one company is exceptionally risky. History is full of examples of "sure" bets that proved wrong. Even a so-called blue chip tech company like Lucent took a tremendous hit earlier this year. If AMD falters (and it has an unfortunate track record in this area), you're far too exposed on the downside. That said, I hope my words of caution don't prove true in this product cycle for AMD. Like what Scumbria said, I'm hoping for Dresden to really alter the PC marketplace.
