Good question.Even though bananas have a lot of potassium, which is needed by the body,and deficiency can cause weakness irritability and death,and i remember to for sure have it (Potassium) for the last days before a contest to balance the water in the muscles, and also balance the sodium. Bananas i use to eat on my diet preparation to lose weight, and get ready for a contest. I did realize though that my butt was not getting smaller.So i replaced them with raisins. And i saw big difference.. For people that are not over weight bananas are very fine.But for people that need to lose weight and have smaller butts, they should cut them down, and replace them with raisins or apples. BaNANAS=To many simple carbs,sugars=Big butt.IMO. Also this tip for women, from the champ. There is a trick, for women that get cramps during their period, that if they follow Takis advice will not have them (cramps). The trick is pyridoxine (B6)vitamin. Why?Because B6 gets rid of cramps, extra water, works as a natural diuretic.
