Well, most of them were too high anyway. Plus, a lot of those "linux-related" companies are hardly related to Linux. No more than they were related to Windows anyway. But from a short term trader's standpoint, Linux stocks could get a little bit of attention from this. Anyone that understands our government had to know there would be no settling. They need to cool MSFT off before MSFT goes out and buys their own military force or something. That's a joke, but the overall picture is that our government cannot allow a company to become too powerful or too rich. MSFT will be regulated on our government's terms, simple as that. The US government must maintain their position as the strongest force around and they will. Who do you think is in charge around here?
