My Peter Lynch experience with digital cameras is negative.
As a result of recently researching the purchase of a new camera I decided not to purchase a digital camera but instead purchased a 35mm Advantix system camera. Not only
was photo quality a concern but arhiciving was a major
consideration. So I can still easily download my photos
to the computer but end up with better photo quality and
also don't have to worry about storage of my photos. In
addition I can easily make reprints which is not the case
with digital. The store owner I dealt with indicated that
more than 30% of the digital cameras he sells for non-business use gets returned. On the other hand he cannot
keep up with the demand for the Advantix cameras. He believes the public is being sold a bill of goods. Time will tell.
