I believe you can count on floppy disks to last about 3 years and CD' maybe 5-7 if you're lucky. Not to mention that floppys will be obsolete soon probably followed in time by zips and cds. However, film storage will most probably outlive them. I don't know the answer but am curious how many digital photos can be stored on floppys, cds or zips? My photos are important to me so I would also be afraid to trust an on-line storage site(although I know nothing about them). I can see using an on-line storage site for my music digital music perhaps since that could be replaced if lost or damaged. Also, the Advantix system provides for archiving in the original film canister as opposed to the full negatives we are all familiar with. This makes storage and organization much neater and easier.
