CC,

I agree with all your points in your response to Sili, but I'd like to add one comment to your response to Point 1 - "Answers.com is by far the most important aspect of the Net Shepherd family":

Answers.com has evolved into something much bigger than it was when it was bought by Net Shepherd.

It started out as a pedestrian site. Net Shepherd had big ideas for it... initially using their technology to make it more efficient, more accurate and cheaper to produce the answers. Then the application potential became Client Relationship Management (CRM). When Baan stepped in, and Net Shepherd rounded it out with Clickchoice and KPulse, it became of enormous potential with Beyond ERP. Better than that, the wealth created by each of these companies goes back into Net Shepherd of which we own a part of.

Basically, I'm saying that the most important aspect is that they are more together than the sum of each alone. They are all strong companies with products and services of their own. Net Shepherd provides the application (ICMS), resources (the actual internet community) and support. But together? Together they are a force to be reckoned with. Each company, although viable on their own, collaborate to provide their clients with a full-suite, scalable ERP solution on the front. BUT, they also feed information on the back, ie:
- ClickChoice's myFilter uses ICMS ratings; sites not rated go through the ICMS Quick Response System and are added to the collection of urls
- user information (name, postal code/ZIP) provided to use myFilter are fed to KPulse for business intelligence
- the Internet Explorers' Society (IES) do expeditions for business intelligence and Answers.com for CRM, hence the ratings

What's the common bond? ICMS. Who has it? Net Shepherd.

Sili, if only you could have been at the meeting and seen what Net Shepherd has become with the Vanenburg Group and Baan. You would only see bright skies and dollar signs. I admit that it is difficult to understand without the demonstrations and slideshow by Baan, and perhaps why many of the retail investors are getting frustrated, but I have told many on this thread by PM that I was blown away. Sili, you know I've been in the IT industry for well over 10 years, and I am absolutely floored with the potential that now exists for Net Shepherd.

Denise.
