As someone who called this a scam from the day of Freeport's announcement, I can hardly take solace when the pain of many is so obvious. Having said this, it is very difficult to feel any emotion for the foul-mouthed intemperates (pro Bre-X posters) that hijacked this thread and turned it into a cheerleading exercise.
As one who was on the receiving end of the invective directed at anyone who might even question the validity of Bre-X's Busang claim, I can tell you this was not only disconcerting but very depressing.

P.S. My only hope is that everyone, particularly the aforementioned boors, will have learned an invaluable lesson in humility if not humanity.
