Stefan, The fact that you are still up on the year indicates the situation of a lot of people. They will not get worried till they start to take hits to their initial capital. That is when you will see panic. The press has done a good job of sensitizing people to the volatility. Buying the dip has been the trend. In this case they will wait for a trend to emerge. Your observation about the market falling under it own weight due to the lack of buyers, plays into the standard trend after the end of quarter. The fund managers are now not under no pressure to place the inflows. They will now wait for value to open up.
