Altho my net worth has substantially decreased in the last week, I'm quite calm about the LT prospects for AMAT and a few others. IMO, these companies became overpriced as a result of a feeding frenzy, and the correction was correct and inevitable ---AND---impossible to time.

However, the fundamentals remain entirely intact, if not improving. Earnings season is beginning and as the news of robust earnings come out, we should see a reverse of the decline and a gradual resumption of growth. This year, warnings of earning shortfalls have been fewer than usual and that augers well.

I'm keeping my bloomers on.
