Summit announces that Firepower911(TM) will appear at Love's Truck Stops And Travel Centers
LONGVIEW, Texas, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Environmental Corporation, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SEVT - news) announced on April 3 that the Company's Firepower911(TM) rated fire extinguisher in an aerosol can will appear at the checkout counters in Love's Truck Stops and Travel Centers beginning April 15, 2000.
The product will be displayed in specially designed display cartons for the counter tops. Feature Store Ads will begin to showcase Firepower911(TM) during the month of May and June. Love's Truck Stops and Travel Centers are located in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, New Mexico and Arizona.
The Firepower911(TM) rated fire extinguisher in an aerosol can is the only product of its kind available in the marketplace.
There are a few copycat products trying to duplicate Firepower911(TM). They are in violation of the State Fire Codes under NFPA Standard 10 (for portable fire extinguishers) in each state in which they are sold.
Recent enforcement action by the State Fire Marshall's office in California and Texas has seen several products removed from retail shelves as they violate the State Fire Codes. Firepower911(TM) meets these requirements and is the only aerosol product to do so.
``This type of enforcement action supports the time and expense we have spent setting Firepower911(TM) apart from all the imposters. The listed validation certification on the back of our can is only found on Firepower911(TM). This certification can only go on the container once a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory certifies your product has tested to the ANSI/UL test requirements,' states Keith Parker, Summits CEO.
