ADAP at $46? LOL! Oh, I've got to get me some of that. . . oh yeah, they split recently . . .still down 21% looks good. . .but I'll wait for a bit more panic. I am thinking that whether or not we bounce hard on techs has more to do with Yahoo earnings than MSFT. The reason the Naz is down so much is because MSFT is the highest weighted stock on the Naz. . .and other techs are moving in sympathy to their leader. But once that ruling comes out. . . it is dog-eat-dog again. . . and if MSFT bites the dust then long-live the new kings. . . I was waiting to hear if there was going to be any hype on the Yahoo earnings. .. and sure enough, Maria began discussing that Yahoo was "expected" to beat earnings substantially. . . .came in about an hour ago. . . now the question is this. . . . is there any truth to that report? If Yahoo disappoints. . . AND MSFT gets its head handed to them. . . look out! We will stare into the abyss. Then again. . .I've always done better buying the abyss than selling it. If Yahoo blows away the street, like they often do. . . then I believe our memory of what happened to MSFT will be short and we will start looking back to earnings. . . I mean really. . .MSFT getting chopped up is hardly even bad news. . . look how well a share of original A.T. & T. has done since divestiture of the baby bells, Lucent spin-off, etc. . . it has been staggering. I think the same will happen to MSFT long term. . . and those selling MSFT now. . .will be truly sorry later. I am looking to be a long-term MSFT BUYER when the panic sets in. . . .now if I could just figure out when exactly that will be. . . . . Rande Is
