Sonny --One common theme with the government issue ---is the Clintons ---both are trial lawyers . I honestly do not think the President and his wife had the public interest involved with the tobacco lawsuits ---they use the Federal Justice department to make a lot of money for the trial lawyers association . Some of the individuals took home over 200 million dollars . Now with MSFT they will have a field day with all the added lawsuits against MR Softie . I can tell you if MSFT and INTC had not set the stanards for the desk top PC the economy would not be anywhere close to where it is now . Nothing we can do about it --very similar to the oil issue --really need some moral leadership in the White House . All this will pass ---it just might take us longer to get where we want ! I was just listening to the market strategist from MWD and he surmize we needed to fall another 20 % to wring out the excessess ( short for we like to buy on the cheap ) BEST WISHES BILL
