I think you're right about many stocks, but I think that right now, but some traditional methods of valuation, LSI itself is not a house of cards. At 65, we have a p/e of 55 on projected year 2000 earnings ($1.18/sh), and a p/e of 40 on 2001 earnings ($1.62). Earnings are expected to grow between 2000 and 2001 at the rate of 37%. LSI is not getting an unrealistic valuation right now, it doesn't seem to me. I think it would be very hard to go below 60 (though I would not be surprised if I were proven wrong again).
