<The large cap issues have barely been hit at all.> Perhaps I am dysperceptional, but I believe TER shareholders, NVLS (down almost 20%!!) shareholders, and others might have a tiny little problem with that statement. And insofar as this correction being the Fed's fault...sure seems like the Dow doesn't mind the policy (and to keep the facts straight here, the long bond closed at 5.825% today, it lowest level in months. Thus interest rates appear to going DOWN not up). No this is one of those ole time gut wrenching corrections - which is being exacerbated by margin calls - that occurs periodically. People can search for whatever cause that makes them feel good, but after NASDAQ's (and the semi sector's) huge run over the last 6 months, this was a given regardless of 'real world' events.
