Robert-like the RCMP, I tracked you down. I miss your wit on the Stock Swap. I thought you abandoned us ever since SteveBoi and J. Stone went Bre-X loco. Now I find out you are hanging out with more of your Canadian buddies. Well, it won't work. I will expose you as the traitor, who singlehandedly helped us overrun and infiltrate Canada such that the secret invasion was a huge success.(Thanks for leaving the keys under the mat for us). We have a medal for you and some cash. The metal we have is all the bullion that exists on the VSE (or is that all the "Bull on" the VSE). We should be getting the gold any day by helicopter. It seems as if it is long overdue. I get confused as to whether your shipment of Moosehead Beer and sausage is way overdue or waiting for the GPGI trading to resume (good call on that also).
Seriously, I hope you didn't think your job was done after you told everyone to bail out of the VSE and some other Canadian stocks. You were right on the money with your comments and those that followed your nutty and funny diclaimers along with pulling the plug on these stocks seemed to have escaped financial disaster.
While I havene't read anything on this thread (sorry about that), i noticed it was more Canadian oriented. We don't mind having a minority opinion on our thread unless this thread here is the new Canadian underground for overthrowing the impending government of Bob up North. If so, WELL EXCUUUUUSE ME for interrupting.
Let me update you on what is going on stateside here. We have some angry fellows that have there own agendas but they seemed to have subsided somewhat. No witch hunts but people have brought attention to some really weird stocks and possible scams. TEIM, ZMAX , and others, to name a few. We could really use your slant on some of these, even if they aren't Canadian. Either way, we miss your making light of some of the carnival activities of the Canadian stocks as the flip side of the US shell games we have come across.
Come by and visit since, I for one, enjoy your sardonic and comedic look at some of the more serious matters being perpetrated by others on certain threads and certain stocks or stock exchanges. I would love to have your take on the Bre-X affair. It makes for great reading on some rather heated threads.
Just because you alerted us to some rather flaky stocks and to some good ones, and you bailed out at the right time, is no reason to be a stranger. We have plenty of US stocks to make fun of until the Canadian ones become fun again.
And just because members of the thread have not embraced all the Canadian stocks you have provided background on, doesn't mean we aren't interested. Its just that we have to first get rid of all these Canadian Geese we are holding hostage from the Winter in return for allowing us to keep the Stanley Cup for yet another year.
We are missing out on some of your more credible and useful insights on the Canadian stocks. Between the OEX, semis, Yr2000, wireless communications and others, the Canadian void is still there. Your Canadian clone, Gene, is not keeping his end of the bargain up.
Unless you are in hibernation, stop by. If you don't, Gene Venoitte is a deadman. That's right, you don't come back, and we will force him to watch Canadian TV.
I think with all the fracus that has occurred with BRE-X and all the activity that will be coming to a head tomorrow or this coming week, a grand re-entrance is in order. StevieBoi played this stock well but it looks as if the house of cards has fallen. We promise to be good until the VSE turns around again.
You also can't go away after telling us to liquidate positions and going to the sidelines when the market turned up there. In retrospect, it was the right decision given the current state of the VSE, and ultimately Bre-X. However, with this scandal, when do you believe it is going to be safe to come back into this exchange. Has the VSE and other exchanges all lost their credibility such that a huge sell off is in the works for the coming days and weeks??? I feel some of the good stocks will suffer greatly and may become real bargains. However, no one has any idea relative to what is good, bad, or scam. Care to comment????
In any event, when you aren't irreverent about the VSE, you have been sincere in your opinions on numerous Canadian Stocks and US ones also.
What's with Stevie these days? Has he been drinking too much Moosehead? Nah, he is trying to do his impression of Carol Channing, Jed Clampett, and the Klondike Gold Rush all wrapped into one. He has been stricken by the Gold, Oil, Diamond bug. Funny thing is, he will hit it big in one of them. Therefore, be nice or he will buy your country and have you evicted.
Hope I haven't intruded here, but if I did, INVADE THE USA, I dare you. We won't put up a fight. To the victor goes the spoils (and our National Debt). Drop me a line or two, now and then, or I will bring everyone over here.
