This sort of correction is essential to the market. During the euphoria (every tech stock is great and they are all the same .. mood) there is no differentiation between a good stock and a bad one.

Who said that fundamentals do not matter? They do now.

Of all the stocks that are getting battered, will some one risk buying a stock with $10 mil in revenues!
Will some one still risk in a stock with unproven products, with one/no customer, in an unproven market space?

Now is the time for the stars to come out ahead. This slump will not and should not affect the investor confidence in technology stocks. Even the fed has accepted the role of technology for the growth of the nation (just the way, California state is not joining the anti-trust suite against Microsoft).

Now is the time for new stars to emerge, as companies such as Microsoft take sidelines for an year or two.

For many reasons, money should come back to technology stocks and this time new winners will take more of the prize money.

And BEAS is setting itself to be the new winner! With so much of good news, great products, increasing market share and companies moving from Microsoft & IBM solutions. I haven't heard such unified message across the industry .. so positive .. about WebLogic. (I haven't heard much competition from IBM, despite the products being given away.)

I reiterate my predictions about this company. It should become another ORCL and CSCO. BEAS is a great buy now! Don't worry about the bumpy ride. Every tech stock holder is in the same boat. The difference is that only some will surface!
