CHAIRMAN NEWS

From: John W. Adair
To: ADAIR SHAREHOLDERS
Date: April 3, 2000
Subject: Dow Jones Article by Mark Golden.

Dear Shareholders,
Pursuant to the subject of this letter, I respectfully submit to you the following: Respectfully,

1. I would like to apologize to you as shareholders for the DOW JONES article in the manner Mr. Golden portrayed our company.

2. ADAIR continues to pursue natural gas fired power projects where the grid/market and natural gas pipelines are available. The 540 MW power plants in Southern California is on schedule and the others are in some stage of development. As in all projects such as these there are many hurdles to cross before you break ground but it is apparent that Mr. Golden knows nothing about feasibility studies and permitting for such projects much less how to read a financial statement and count.

3. It has also been rumored that DOW JONES and Mr. Golden personally know nothing about Native American rights/sovereignty and what they do know could be construed as racial prejudice against such companies/projects as ADAIR has on the drawing boards. I was out of the country when Mr. Golden called but, would welcome a face to face meeting with this individual.

4. Let me assure you that ADAIR is aggressively pursuing its projects in a professional manner and will take legal steps against individuals/entities who cross the line of libel for their or others benefits.

5. As you know ADAIR/OCCIDENTAL signed the exploration project in Yemen and I am presently in Washington D.C. attending a reception for the President of Yemen hosted by the Yemen Embassy and Mr. Ray Irani, Chairman of OCCIDENTAL. Our exploration block 20 was one of the sought after exploration concessions in the Middle East.
Respectfully,

John W. Adair
