Hello Bill. Maybe you had the time to listen what's up with Msft. Msft said it was not surprised with the ruling and they will look for an expedited appeal.

I had heard of earlier talks that the failure of reaching an agreement was due to the fact that the States wanted too much.

I just heard talk that the States want money. Their remedy: Take as much money from Msft as they illegally amassed. Well, this could be expensive. That sum would def. be in the eye of the beholder. If they asked for any kind of settlement like this, I am not surprised why Msft is going on. I guess we will hear more closely in the coming days.

Msft stock was up in after hours until it got halted just before the news came out. It is supposed to open up any minute now, I believe. Maybe it is already trading again. I had sought of buying Msft tomorrow but now I am not so sure. I am hoping that this will not cause another meltdown in the techs tomorrow. The cos. that will benefit from todays ruling in the short term, should be up tomorrow. They are up in after hours.

Um.Um. I heard the NAZ lost something like 480 bill. in market value today and Msft lost the biggest drop in market value by any company ever in 1 day. Wow. That's a record nobody wants to top.

It's interesting to see under which States Atty's most of those suits are being brought. There seems to be a forum of around 20?

Sev. legal pundits are out there. Some who say that MSFT is guilty of everything and some that say that they DID use some bully methods but in the long run it benefited consumers.

I dread the day when I would have to download my own operating system on the net. Get my own stuff and probably pay more than I do now evtl. I guess I should take a course as a software engineer and a technician. gg.

Sonny
