A poster claimed here that there was a banner up in Intel's Fab12 cafeteria congratulating the Fab for producing 1 Million CuMines in one week. Many people here scoffed at the claim and the poster said it was visible from the lobby and anyone could see it for themselves. I went to the fab and I saw the poster and it said 1 Million CuMines in 1 week from Fab12, not from all fabs combined. The current runrate from all fabs is much higher than 1 million CuMines per week but everyone here thinks I am a liar so they will have to wait for Intel's earnings announcement where they will probably quote some numbers. For example last quarter they said they had shipped "millions" of CuMines. I predict the CuMine runrate for Q1 was 10x the Athlon rate. I'm sure all those who called me a liar will apologize after the facts come out just like they do every time.

BTW, Intel shipped 32.5 Million processors last quarter IINM, of which 30 Million were probably other than CuMines.
