There is a huge difference between MSFT and tobacco litigation. There is tremendous sentiment against the tobacco as well as strong medical evidence. MSFT is a great innovator, albeit a deadly competitor. The tobacco companies are still not attractive, imo, unless the individual states grant the tobacco companies protection from ungodly appeals bonds that would have crippled them and forced chap 11. larry
