Don, and go through the pain of transferring and translating all my files again? No thank you, I try and limit these cleans up to "Shmita" (once in seven years, no more). By the way, what assurance I have that MSFT has done a better job with 2000? Wait until your software "ages" a little (and accumulates garbage along the way), it will freeze sooner or later. Those guys did not even include an automated utility that cleans the file from all the garbage that accumulates on the system when operating it, aprticularly when downloading stuff from the net.
