Elmer,

Some classic Elmer Phudd:

AMD hasn't shown any ability to significantly manufacture K7s on .25u

...on die L2 (which AMD can't manufacture)

We've certainly seen more confirmations than Athlons. There was Jim's statement that the K7 was "just about ready for production" last Christmas. Scumbria's promise of K7s in June. AMD's vapor intro in
June. AMD's vapor re-introduction in August. Steve's secret inside information of product in June. Now you have "pretty much confirmed that Gateway WILL have Athlons before Christmas"! Gee... another
reliable source!

Re: "Oh - remember the "rumors" of AMD design Engineers leaving AMD ? I have received independent confirmation of this as well. Stuart Oberman -one of the K7 FPU designers - is one of the engineers
who have left AMD. I think he just left onMonday - Sept. 13 !"
Well it sounds as though the exodus is accelerating. Who can blame em? No AMD designed processor has ever turned an overall profit in the history of the company! But they get an "E" for effort... Record
losses, mounting debt, spiraling costs, I'm just glad the AMD faithful are holding the stock price up while my puts expire. Would you short this stock if it gets near $30?
