From September 1998 to September 1999, RBAK sold about 1000 boxes. Their total revenue for their entire existance of just over 3 years (1996-1999 per the annual report) was just over $73.5 million - hardly a lock on a future market measured in the billions. That said, we already know per Noam's comments in the CC that "another" RBAK customer has chosen Red-C, so we already must have picked up more than one defecting customer.
