Better yet, what if you want to buy a dual-processor-ready system, but leave one of the CPU slots open? That's certainly a viable strategy for 800 and 866 MHz Pentium III systems. It's easier to plug in a 2nd CPU than it is to convert the entire system from SDRAM to RDRAM. <When Intel gets the i815 chipset out, DELL will stop selling RDRAM PC's.> I doubt it.
