Well hi Rick, I'm delighted that you posted that to me. As a long term QCOM holder and options trader, I was hedged and suffered comparatively few losses today. I even managed to make a bit of money buying SUNW calls and selling puts on beaten down issues. But do I miss The "momo's and limp fish handshakers"? The "riff-raff" a la Ibexx? You bet I do. I also feel very badly for those who recently bought tech stocks on margin and are now facing catastrophic losses. They are my neighbors and friends, people I care about. Yes, thank goodness for free speech. It's what allows me to remind you (and I mean this in the plural)that this is a painful time for many. Ain't nothing silly about that.
