Morgan or shall I say SFD,
thanks for your nice welcome and I agree that any board would be the most beneficial to investors if all aspects of a company were discussed. As far as personal attacks are concerned, well I have never seen a need for them.
I first bought NITE last April and have visited many of the boards and have a fairly good idea of the quality, or lack thereof, of the posts and posters. The reasons why someone feels the price may move lower are more than welcome to express their views, IMHO, as long as the reasons are properly articulated. Your volume analysis over the past couple of weeks was a refreshing view for me.
You have also stated in the past that you feel the best kind of technical analysis on a relatively new stock would be looking at support and resistance levels more than patterns, at least this is what I seem to remember. There have been a number of posts about patterns on the NITE chart, cup with handle and a double bottom to name just two. I myself have drawn lines that resemble a symmetrical triangle with the apex being around 44, which so far has proved to be good support, which may very well have been a coincidence. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Having been in the market for just about a year it would be difficult for me to try and address some of your questions, but wanted to least respond to your post before too much time had elapsed. Possibly others who have more investing and trading experience will continue the discussion. Also, I have been concentrating more on the general market this past week more than anything else.
I will try and contribute when possible, it looks as if you have done a good job of reviving the board. Your update on the European markets was appreciated as I have not visited the Financial Times site for awhile.
Thanks again. |
