Victor, get a grip. >April 3, 2000 Plunging technology shares sent the Nasdaq Composite Index down 349, or 7.6%, 4224 for its biggest point drop ever and the fifth largest in percentage terms. The Dow Jones Industrial Average soared 300, or 7.8%, to 11222 on safe-haven buying.
