[Who is going to sell, now?]
If you're an Amatian, you haven't been on the roller coaster only to sell at 15 or even 18, especially on the eve of probable movement forward on the fundamental side as well as exposure surrounding InterOp, likely Wall Street coverage, etc.
If you're the nervous type, you probably have already sold in the last 3 months.
If you bought recently for the momentum, you're not going to sell soon after blasting through the 200 day moving average (hopefully tomorrow).
If you bought recently because the long term story all of a sudden looks more like reality, you are more likely to hold long term.
If you are an institution trying to get in recently before other funds beat you to a limited supply of stock in the teens, you will likely only add to your position for the long term.
If you are a short seller, well what can I say? I hope they sell some more short. If shorting Amati, they may be out of the stock arena soon I suspect. I hope they save some lunch money and enough for the tolls home.
I think that leaves us with day traders and those that have had enough of the roller coaster. I suspect this group is relatively small compared with the others, particularly when the believers are combined with the new buyers wanting on board.
I think the stars are aligned this week.
