TPaw, The situation you described is by no means universal. While I don't have statistics to offer, I was personally involved in a number of situations a couple of years back where the adoption of a different audio system was a distinct possibility - no mechanical, electrical, or material mutual-dependency whatsoever. Not sure how things are now, but at the time, no one even recognize there could be an issue. With due deference, I stand by my analogy. Ibexx
