I've read the major quotations from the judge from many sources now. I guess MHO is that the marketplace has already said "No way!" to the idea of an MSFT monopoly, so the judge is reacting to a posited path based on an historical study of events, but the marketplace turned that project path into non-reality, so it never happenned. So, we have a verdict that is trying to prevent what is already an impossibility. MSFT never had and never will have a monopoly. 95% control is a lot, but a brilliant 5% can overwhelm a complacent, nasty, cocky would-be monopolist in the USA even today. Our system still works that well!!!! Kevin
